Who we are
Duet (“we”, “us”) operates duetfashion.com, a marketplace that pairs women's and men's fashion from independent brands. Contact us at hello@duetfashion.com.
What we collect
- Email address — when you subscribe to our newsletter or claim a discount code.
- Account details — for brand members: email, password (hashed, never visible to us), brand name, and the product information you upload.
- Usage data — pages viewed, links clicked, referring site, and approximate location derived from IP address.
- Payment data — handled entirely by Stripe. We never see or store card numbers.
How we use it
To operate the site, send the emails you asked for, measure which pairings and traffic sources perform, report click statistics to the brands whose products you clicked, and process membership payments.
Legal basis
Where UK/EU law applies, we rely on consent for marketing emails, contract for brand memberships, and legitimate interests for security and basic analytics.
Who we share it with
Supabase (database and authentication), Stripe (payments), Resend (email delivery), and Vercel (hosting). We do not sell your personal data. When you click through to a brand's store, that brand's own privacy policy governs what happens next.
Cookies and storage
We use a cookie to keep brand members signed in. Your wishlist and traffic source are kept in your browser's local storage and are never sent to us in identifiable form.
Retention
Newsletter emails are kept until you unsubscribe. Brand accounts are kept for the life of the account plus 12 months. Aggregate click data is kept for 24 months.
Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data, object to processing, or request a portable copy. Email hello@duetfashion.com and we will respond within 30 days. Every marketing email includes a one-click unsubscribe link.
Children
Duet is not directed at anyone under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes
We will post any changes on this page and update the date above.
